Substantial in hand and refined in detail, this is the kind of lamp that anchors a room — equally at home on a mahogany writing desk, a library side table, or a bedroom nightstand.

The turned brass column draws directly from 18th-century candlestick design, with crisp ring detailing along the shaft, a drip pan collar at the socket, and a stepped circular foot with concentric ring molding. The brass retains a warm, naturally aged patina consistent with its age — neither over-polished nor neglected.

Offered with its original drum shade in cognac/brown faux leather with subtle horizontal stripe detailing, and a frosted white glass cone diffuser that sits in the socket for a soft uplight effect — a period detail rarely found intact.
